Hello Glenn and all participants
If you were to examine all of the KuK officers who commanded at the Army level during WWI, how would you rate the top 3 or 4, based objectively on such
qualities as:
initiative, flexibility, discipline, troop loyalty, etc.
It seems that the Austro-Hungarian Army possessed
many talented and successful generals at the corps,
division, and regimental level, but I have read or heard little (perhaps other than Boroevic) that might indicate that the Army commanders were men of unusual talents.
